Starting in 1981, the Hobey Baker Memorial Award has been presented annually to the top male college hockey player in the United States.  Please check out the Hobey Baker web site for more information about the history of the award.

The Gopher's have had 4 players receive this honor.  Neal Broten was the first recipient of this prestigious award.
