Above is a photo of Mariucci Arena's banner wall in February of 1992.

Below is a photo of the banner wall being built in 1949 during the Field House remodel.  This wall separated the basketball side from the hockey side.  The seats on the basketball side created the sloped wall above the goal.  After the Field House was remodeled it was renamed Williams Arena.
